LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
A Health Project
Leaders are made not born
In September 2020 MZF begun capacity building on leadership and management this was conceptualized from the thought that health services improvement requires more than just technical skills.
The leadership capacity building approach combines both center based capacity building and workplace mentorship and coaching, through the process health facilities set goals for improvement. 24 health facilities have been reached and with in short time the results are just outstanding.
we are seeing improvement in community engagement, improved collaboration of staff in the clinic, customers becomes more satisfied, improvement in cleanliness of health facilities and Shehias where 2 health facilities won the environmental health completions and we believe the potential to achieve more is obvious.
our goal is to be able to integrate this capacity building into in-service package of training for primary health care workers.
The future is promising
